God’s Country Marathon Race Series

Description: Depicting the full marathon, half marathon, and relay routes for the God’s Country Race Series in Potter County, PA, between Galeton and Coudersport.. The marathon is known for its rural setting, and the map is meant to reflect that by way of Landsat imagery. Parks and nearby landmarks are also noted in order to promote tourism for the area.

This map is meant to be distributed as a PDF on the race website, but also given out to race participants as a printed 8.5 x 11 inch handout, so it needed to be informative, but serve primarily as promotional material as well as a souvenir. Vibrancy and aesthetics took precedence in this design.
