Ash borer beetle spread

Description: Produced in collaboration with Root House Media. The National Geographic Museum of Exploration features extensive decorative millwork made from ash trees harvested from the area located on the map. The emerald ash borer was encroaching on a particular stand, so the trees were harvested preventatively. A video in the museum explains this process, and features this map.
